Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of General Insurance clients across Property, Liability, Motor, Group Medical, PI, Cyber, and other lines.
- Prepare quotations, perform comparisons, and handle policy placement with insurers.
- Coordinate claims processing and liaise with insurers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with MAS/GIA guidelines and maintain accurate records.
- Lead and mentor GI servicing team.
- Develop insurer relationships, negotiate competitive terms.
- Oversee key corporate accounts and support strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple GI classes
- Preferably with 5+ years GI experience in broking or underwriting, with leadership exposure
- Candidates who possess certificates in general insurance (CGI, PGI, HI and BCP) will have an added advantage.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and organized in handling task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- People management and negotiation skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
Other Information
- Working Location: Great World City Office Tower (River Valley area)
- 5-day work week, Mondays to Fridays (9.00am to 6.00pm)
